Brenda van der Meulen is one of the top female powerlifter of the Netherlands, became third at World Championships Powerlifting 2003. Became third at the European Championships Powerlifting 2004. sixth at the World Championships Powerlifting 2005 and fourth at the European Benchpress Championships 2005. In 2006 Brenda became West European Champion Powerlifting and European Benchpress. Former trainingspartners: Ielja Strik is the number one female powerlifter of the Netherlands. At this stage she is national recordholder of all the records in the -82,5kg and -90kg class. Here personal bests are (squat 250kg, benchpress 182,5kg, deadlift 225kg and total of 652,5kg). She is the first Dutch female powerlifter lifted a total over 600kg. World & European Champion Benchpress 2004, 2005 & 2006. European & World Champion Powerlifting 2006. Worldrecordholder benchpress in single- and thirdlift. Bas Roessen
was the
number one junior Powerlifter of the Netherlands 2003. He
became for the second time champion at the Seniors Nationals. He is going into the right
direction. Is now training for Strong Man competitions. Ylke Vaassen became on the nationals 2004 for the first time national champion. National Champion 2005. Is now training on his own. Peter Baltus the Strongest Strong Man of the Netherlands 2003. Is stopped with competition sports. Michel Kossen with his body. He must be able to lift over a total of 1000 kilos, but he is now focus on Benchpress competition and maybe in the future Strong Man competition again. Is he able to be the first benchpresser in the Netherlands to break the 300kg barrier. He is lifting for the federation 'Powerlifting Holland'. Erwin Krokkee is one of top powerlifters of the Netherlands. National recordholder of the total in the -90kg class (825kg). Also nationalrecorder at the benchpress 227,5kg (-90kg class) and 232,5kg (-100kg). Is now lifting for the federation 'Powerlifting Holland'. Wesley Schootemeyer strong at his age (19 years), a big lifter for the future. Through back injure stopped at this moment with Powerlifting. |
